Telstra awarded Visionstream the Telstra A&AS Contract for four (4) patches that comprises Melbourne North West (half of Melbourne), Vic North East (half of Telstra Vic/Tas region), SA South (two thirds of Adelaide and southern SA), WA North (half of Perth and most of WA). The 2 + 2 contract required a 24/7 response for Telstra 365 days per year and included a strict KPI measurement and penalty system on performance. Up to 2000 individual work orders in different locations are completed during each day that covers new network, customer connections and fault repair for all of Telstra’s:
- Copper networks
- Optic fibre networks
- Coaxial cable and Hybrid networks
- Exchange works
- Locations ranging from Telstra premises to remote locations, street works and installation in customers homes and computers.
