| Features and Benefits : Particular commendation was given to our construction performance; the project was completed in the last days of the dry season in November 2004. This was, until October 2004, believed by Telstra and others not to be achievable. Also commended was our high level of compliance with the strict environmental requirements developed by Telstra for that project and as outlined in the project EMP. The Department of Infrastructure Planning & Environment (DIPE-NT) were also pleased with this aspect and we had only positive dealings and feedback from both the Northern Land Council and Kakadu National Park (Parks Australia) during and immediately following completion of that project. |
